It’s a known fact that I have more than one sweet tooth. And I tend to crave Peeps, Circus Peanuts and Bit-o-Honey over chocolate. So when I was introduced to my new favorite last year I was smitten at first bite.
I have a tiny little jar that sits by my favorite chair in the living room. And I always have some type of candy in it. I grew up with my Grandma keeping jars of candy all over her home, car and even Ziploc baggies of it in her purse.
My kids obey the law and really only grab a piece every now and then. But it is oh so fun to hear the lids clink when they have friends over. I am a firm believer that if you deny them the sweet’s {anything} they will hoard it whenever they can. We try to teach that everything needs to me consumed in moderation.
Ok, back to my introduction.
If you have yet to try Mike Ike’s Tangy Twister’s you must add it to your bucket list. Before you start looking everywhere for it let me tell where I have found it. My local 7-11 and Walgreens and on rare occasion Big Lots.
They are wrapped in an orange box or package and are a mix of both sweet and sour. My nose is beading with perspiration just talking about it. Please forgive me now, for your new found addiction.
On another note…Like my new lamp?
It’s no Goodwill "find" but we loved it and it works so much better than the lamp from Wal-Mart we had before!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me some comment love! I love having those little candy jars around the house.
ReplyDeleteOOOOO - my mouth is watering. Thanks for the tip!

I like to have candy jars around too. And I agree with what you said about the kids and moderation.
