Dedicated to the Man I love

Who loves God, his family and all things Yankee!
I have only visited NYC one time, during Christmas, that did not in tale a trip to the Bronx to catch a few Yankee’s games.

On this trip we got to watch the Yankees play Tampa in a great series.
We arrived to our first game at 2:30 in the afternoon. Game time was 7:05pm.
If math is not your best subject that’s 4 ½ hours before the game and 2 ½ hours before they allow you into the stadium, and we were FAR from being alone. Yes, this is where I win “Wife of the Year” folks!
Arriving early we got to hang out with Bald Vinny, a legend for those who set with the Bleacher Creatures!
Watched BP where BOTH, BOTH of the kiddos caught balls!!!
First, Hannah with her foam finger. It was amazing enough that she caught a ball let alone with a foam finger.

And Gabe with his glove! This made arriving early all worth it!

We watched them honor George Steinbrenner “The Boss”
Nick Swisher responding to “roll call” for the Bleacher Creatures.

As a mom I always long for games with my kids when I see this plastered on the seat in front of me. Means I can never look away without risking near death for any of my family members. On a side note I new that I had a lot of freckles, but that is just plane crazy. Maybe they are age spots just trying to pass as a freckle?

And we got to beat on Freddy Say’s pot. If you are a Yankee fan and have ever watched a home game on TV in the past 50 years. You have heard Freddy beating on his pot at every home game. He is a living Yankee icon.

Sadly our fun had to end and it was time to head back to Oklahoma. We are already looking forward to watching are beloved Yankees in Post Season Play!
