I {Heart} Weekends!

I have to say that last weekend was extremely busy, but one we all loved.

We started it off at the BIG 12 baseball tournament in Bricktown. Hanging out with daddy and swimming in the hotel pool. I wished it would always be this easy to get the kiddos excited about swimming and walking across the road in a sky bridge!
Saturday morning we dined on breakfast at McDonalds. Gabe was able to put away the entire BIG Country breakfast with a Sprite/OJ to wash it down.
Then we were off the National Cowboy Hall of Fame Museum for their annual Chuck Wagon festival. If you are ever looking for something to do in OKC this is fabulous for the family.
Kiddos get to see how folks lived and cooked back in the day.
With stage coach rides
Pony rides
You take a pic of your kids first pony, right? This is Gabe’s last pony ride. He was one pound shy of the weight limit {after that BIG breakfast}!

Cousin Tillman just wanted to watch.
We made our own ropes.

They sure came in handy later that day.

We sat on Oreo.
Watched the donkey’s churn ice cream.
And couples square dance.
\
We ended the day with another game at the ballpark.
My niece came with us and enjoyed her very first cup of Dip in Dots. Poor deprived child.
She followed us home for dinner and a late night fire fly catching party.
We meet up with my sister and the family Sunday for a day at the lake. To play on the boats and do a little fishing!
This was the kid’s first lake trip and they loved it!
Said Uncle Steve’s “Fun Ride” was better than any ride at Disney World!
Just wished daddy could have come and joined in on the fun. He promised to be there next time.
Yet another weekend of baseball is ahead of us along with temps reaching 99 degrees. This time I will be sure to apply ample sunscreen to avoid being sun baked!

Can’t wait to show you what treasures I found at my neighbors yearly yard sale!
