So, when my sister asked my nephew what he wanted to do for his 3rd birthday, he said he wanted a deer and hunting party.
I helped design and print his invites.
And a deer silhouette t-shirt for him to wear.
He had a deer feeding stand for the cake.
And see those three little candles he “helped” mommy put those in. They really are 6 inch candles.
Turkey & leaf sugar cookies.
A deer to hunt.
Everyone wearing cameo.
Even grandma had on sequined cameo.
So if you have a little hunter in the family maybe this insipred you a bit!
Happy Birthday Spud!

What a great looking party! How fun, never have seen a theme like that, and done so well! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHow funny! Thanks for sharing..with a little craftiness any party theme can be made!
ReplyDeleteTremendously cute and fun - how clever!!
ReplyDeleteToo cute. That would go over really well here in rural GA!
ReplyDeleteSuch a unique theme! Your photography is gorgeous too. Could your little guy have eyes that were any bigger? He's too cute.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job. You are so creative. Could you handle all of my childrens' future parties, ha! I love the invite, and you mentioned you made it yourself. It looks so professional and not homemade like the ones I have attempted. What program did you use? I have been considering buying one to make invitations, stationary etc. Thanks for sharing your fun ideas. I always look forward to your posts. Jen

Great job! When my son was 3 he wanted a "deer huntin' shootin' cake" so I put a deer head in crosshairs on a flat cake and made deer cupcakes with antlers made of pretzels in half and Reese's Peices for the eyes and nose. So I am glad I am not the only one here! I love all of your creative ideas and I might try a Tshirt like that for my son! I am working on some camo projects (slowly) for his room and putting them on my blog, too. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletewow i love this!!! that feeding stand is perfect haha. looks like everyone got into the theme! that is always fun. thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteI used microsoft word to create the invite. Fancy huh? LOL! I am sure it would be much faster if I had a program to use.For now I download free fonts and clipart, then just work with inserting text boxes and adjusting them to my page.
Thanks for the kind words. It's so much fun creating that stuff.
Can you please tell me how you made the cake stand?? caswell_kaitlin@yahoo.com
DeleteWhat a great idea. I am passing this on to my sister-in-law who I'm sure will have a little hunter on her hands in a few years.
