Make Your Own Fancy Fringe

I swoon over fringe on just about anything, and love the fancy crepe paper fringe I see everywhere. So it was high time I figured out how to make me some!

I bought four colors of crepe paper for an upcoming party, and pulled out Miss. Janome.
Align two colors of crepe paper together and sew a straight stitch right down the middle.

Take your scissors and cut every so often until you get something that looks like this.

Then just fluff up with your hands.

I will be linking up here at all these other great sites Show and Tell -

  21. I just found your blog today and have spent the last 30 minutes (probably more) look at your old posts. I am doing a rainbow theme bday for my baby (2yo) and bought crepe paper in every color but it is so boring just draped around! I am so stealing (borrowing) this idea! Super big thanks!! Kate
